Third-generation blue pottery artisan from Jaipur. Blending Turko-Persian techniques with Rajasthani soul.
Their Story
My grandfather migrated from Multan before Partition, carrying nothing but the knowledge of blue pottery in his hands. He set up a small workshop in Jaipur and taught my father, who taught me. We use no clay — only quartz stone powder, glass, and Multani mitti. Every piece is fired at 850 degrees and hand-painted with cobalt oxide. The blue colour you see is not paint; it is born in the kiln. I have spent eighteen years perfecting the craft and still feel like a student. My dream is to bring Jaipur Blue Pottery to modern Indian homes without losing its Mughal elegance.
