Every item on ArtisticHues is made by hand by an independent Indian maker. We want you to love what you buy — and when something genuinely goes wrong, we want putting it right to be simple. This policy explains when you can return an item or request a refund, how to do it, and what to expect. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Handmade work carries the marks of the hands that made it. Small differences in colour, texture, grain, weave, or finish — and slight variation from the photographs on a listing — are a natural part of handcrafted goods and are not considered defects. These characteristics are part of what makes each piece one of a kind. A return on the grounds of such natural variation alone is not eligible under this policy.
If there is a genuine problem with your order, please report it to us within 7 days of delivery. Reporting promptly, with photos, helps us and the maker resolve things quickly. Requests made after this window may not be eligible.
You may request a return or refund if the item is:
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
Some items cannot be returned or refunded except where they arrive damaged, wrong, or materially not as described:
To begin, email us at support@artistichues.com with:
We’ll review your request, coordinate with the maker, and let you know the next steps — including how to send the item back where a return is needed.
Once your return is approved (and, where applicable, the returned item is received and checked), we will issue your refund to the original payment method used for the order. Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after approval. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a little longer for the amount to appear in your account.
You can cancel an order for a full refund any time before it is dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but it may still be eligible for a return under the terms above. To cancel, email support@artistichues.com with your order ID as soon as possible. Custom and commissioned pieces that the maker has already begun may not be cancellable — we’ll tell you if that’s the case.
