These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ArtisticHues (“ArtisticHues”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a marketplace that connects buyers with independent artists and makers based in India. Please read them carefully. They form a binding agreement between you and ArtisticHues.
By creating an account, browsing, listing items, or making a purchase on ArtisticHues, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These Terms apply to everyone who uses ArtisticHues, whether as a buyer, a maker, or a visitor.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under Indian law to use ArtisticHues. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you give us is accurate and current.
You may register as a buyer to purchase items, or as a maker (seller) to list and sell your handmade work. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly at support@artistichues.com if you suspect any unauthorised use. You may close your account at any time.
ArtisticHues is a marketplace that connects buyers with independent makers. The makers are the sellers of the items listed on the platform; they are not our employees or agents. Each maker is solely responsible for their own listings, for the items they sell, and for fulfilling the orders they receive. The contract of sale for any item is between the buyer and the maker. ArtisticHues provides the platform, processes payments, and supports the transaction, but is not the seller of the items and does not take title to them.
Makers are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, lawful, and not misleading, including descriptions, images, materials, pricing, and availability. You agree that any content you post — listings, photos, reviews, profile information, or messages — is your own or that you have the right to post it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law. We may remove or edit content, or suspend a listing, that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
Makers retain ownership of the intellectual property in their work, their images, and their content. By listing on ArtisticHues, a maker grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce, and promote that content for the purpose of operating and marketing the platform.
Similarly, when you post any content as a user, you grant ArtisticHues a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content on and in connection with the platform. The ArtisticHues name, logo, and the design and software of the platform itself belong to us and may not be used without our permission.

Prices on ArtisticHues are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. When you place an order and pay, you authorise us (through our payment provider) to charge the amount shown at checkout, including any shipping fees. An order is confirmed once payment is received. ArtisticHues retains a platform commission on each sale; the remainder is paid to the maker. The commission rate in force is shown on the product page before you check out, and is described further on our About page.
Because every item is handmade, some natural variation is to be expected and is not a defect. Order cancellations, returns, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, and shipping timelines and fees are set out in our Shipping Policy. Please read those pages — they form part of these Terms.
ArtisticHues is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work to keep the platform reliable and accurate, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not the seller of, and do not guarantee, the items listed by makers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArtisticHues will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, and our total liability in connection with any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
You agree to indemnify and hold ArtisticHues harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your content, the items you sell, or your misuse of the platform.
We may suspend or terminate your access to ArtisticHues, or remove your content or listings, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the platform and its users. You may stop using the platform and close your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as those on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity — will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, you agree that the courts at our registered place of business in India will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of ArtisticHues.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, give you reasonable notice — for example, by email or a notice on the site. Your continued use of ArtisticHues after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
